Introduction to Acting
Tuesdays & Thursdays ~11:00 a.m.
Fall 2008
Taught by Robert Alford II
This 3 hour credit course will focus on two-person scenes, monologues and improvisation.  You will learn basic acting techniques through analyzing, rehearsing and performing scenes from Modern and Contemporary American plays.  We will focus on plays by American authors such as Tennessee Williams, Sam Shepherd, August Wilson, John Guare, David Mamet, Wendy Wasserstein, Christopher Durang, Paula Vogel, David Ives, Lanford Wilson, Eugene O’Neil and Arthur Miller.  This is a fun and exciting way to expand your horizons!
