CINEMA BISTRO PREMIERES WITH THE GODFATHER
This weekend (September 25-27), The RFC will host a special engagement of Francis Ford Coppola's masterpiece, The Godfather. Screening from a restored 35mm film print in the Willis-Knighton Health System Theater, this milestone of cinema will also be available to enjoy as part of our all-new dinner and a movie program, Cinema Bistro. The Cinema Bistro experience includes a seated meal (themed to complement the film) from Abby Singer's Bistro followed by a screening of the film, which begins during service of the dessert course. WRITER/DIRECTOR ROD LURIE (STRAW DOGS) TO SCREEN
AND DISCUSS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH
The Robinson Film Center will host director and screenwriter, Rod Lurie, for a screening and discussion of his 2008 drama, Nothing But the Truth, starring Kate Beckinsale, Matt Dillon, and more on Sunday, September 27 at 7:00 PM. Mr. Lurie is currently in north Louisiana directing the film Straw Dogs. Normal admission rates of $6.75-$8.75 apply. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.

The 12th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival will be broadcast simultaneously in more than 175 cities around the globe, including Shanghai, New York City, and Shreveport. Following a two-hour program of juried short films ranging from documentary to animation, our audience will cast their votes in a global selection of winners. Winners will be announced August 29 in New York City.
50% of all proceeds benefit the Robinson Film Center.
