Join the Robinson Film Center for a special edition of the Freak-Out! featuring the notorious 2006 horror/comedy Slither with writer/director James Gunn (who also wrote both Scooby Doo films as well as the 2004 version of Dawn of the Dead!) in attendance. Gunn will introduce the film and participate in a post-screening Q&A. Normal admission rates apply.

Filmmaker Kern Courtney will donate all proceeds to Mary Arnold.
In 2008, a group of local musicians came together to organize a fundraiser concert benefiting Mary Arnold, a beloved waitress at Murrell's Grill. Arnold had been diagnosed with cancer and was struggling with high medical bills. The concert was held on December 9 at the Actor's Cafe and featured many of Shreveport's most popular local musicians including Buddy Flett, Dirtfoot, The Peekers, A.J. Haynes, Mr. Christopher and Danny Wilder. The Biggest Tip Ever chronicles the night of the concert and brings viewers up-to-date with Miss Mary's fight against cancer.
