NW LA GAY & LESBIAN FILM FESTIVAL
September 11-17
Shreveport-based community organization P.A.C.E. (People Acting for Change and Equality) has organized the NW LA Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, a week-long series of films ranging from documentaries (2007's acclaimed Chris & Don: A Love Story) to comedies (2000's Sordid Lives). The event kicks off with an opening night reception on Friday, September 11, 6:00 PM-7:30 PM, featuring special guest Leslie Jordan, Emmy-winning star of television's "Will & Grace," the film Sordid Lives, and much more.

LSU Football at The Robinson Film Center continues on Saturday, September 12 as LSU faces Vanderbilt, beginning at 6:00 PM. The game will be presented upstairs in our multi-purpose spaces on three enormous screens, with comfortable couches and other seating available. In addition, we'll have 2-for-1 drink specials for the first hour of the game and a cheap eats tailgating menu including pizza, hot dogs, and more.
